Funeral Services Today for Occidental’s Dennis

Funeral services will be held today at noon at the Glendale Forest Lawn Church of the Recessional for Roy Dennis, long-time athletic director and football coach at Occidental College.

Dennis, 82, died Thursday in Laguna Hills. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Roy Dennis Fund in care of the Occidental College Athletic Department.

Among the athletes Dennis coached were Rep. Jack Kemp (R-N.Y.) and Jim Mora, coach of the New Orleans Saints. Kemp and Mora were co-captains of Dennis’ 1957 Occidental football team.
