Brezhnev Aide Jailed

MOSCOW — The late Soviet leader Leonid I. Brezhnev’s private secretary, Gennady Brovin, has been jailed for nine years for amassing at least 19,000 rubles, or $30,000, in bribes while working for the Kremlin chief, the government newspaper Izvestia said on Friday.
