Datron Terminates Talks on Acquiring Astro Link
- Share via
Datron Systems, a Simi Valley defense electronics company, says it has cut off negotiations to buy the assets and product line of Astro Link in Camarillo.
Earlier this month, Datron disclosed it was negotiating to buy the assets of Astro Link, a private company, for less than $1.5 million.
Donald Kennedy, Astro Link’s president, said the companies disagreed over the value of Astro Link’s assets. He said Astro Link is negotiating with other parties.
Datron makes satellite communications terminals and other equipment used by the military to track planes, missiles and satellites. Astro Link makes equipment that receives electronic signals from tracking equipment.
