Gerald A. Sauvageau has been appointed president and chief executive officer of the Insco/Dico Group, an Anaheim-based surety bond specialist. He replaces Jerome J. Sweeney, who retired. Sauvageau comes to Insco/Dico from M.F. Salta Co., Lakewood, where he was risk and insurance manager. Before that, he was self-employed and designed and implemented specialty insurance programs for the automobile industry and the banking business. Previous positions include director of marketing for Insuror Management and manager of North American Data, two Los Angeles subsidiaries of Insurance Co. of North America; vice president of Agency Service Bureau, Portland, and casualty manager at National Fire Insurance Co., Minneapolis.
