5.6 Quake Rattles Mexico’s Pacific Coast

MEXICO CITY — An earthquake measuring 5.6 on the Richter scale shook Mexico’s Pacific coast Tuesday but caused no injuries or damage, the National Seismology Service said.
A spokeswoman said the quake, which was capable of causing considerable damage, struck at 8:01 a.m. PST off the coast of Michoacan state and was felt in the coastal city of Manzanillo.
