Former heavyweight champion George Foreman, coming off an unimpressive showing against Dwight Muhammad Qawi last Saturday night, has been dropped from the June 6 fight card in Las Vegas, topped by middleweight champion Thomas Hearns, because he refuses to meet any credible fighters, promoter Bob Arum said.
Arum had given the 40-year-old Foreman a list of five fighters to choose as opponents, including former heavyweight champion Michael Dokes, himself in the midst of a comeback.
