Court-appointed PTL trustee David Clark filed a new bankruptcy reorganization plan, one that would sell off nearly all assets and make him the head of the bankrupt television ministry. Disgraced founder Jim Bakker expressed immediate outrage, saying the proposal is a power grab and violates the constitutional principle of separation of church and state. “To me, it’s the most shocking event in the legal history of Christianity that a court-appointed trustee could be head of a ministry he was appointed trustee over,” Bakker said.
