Mubarak Awad and Israel

I was amazed that The Times would devote valuable front-page space advising the public of a sudden downturn of tourists in Israel (“Uprising Triggers a Crisis in Israel Tourism Industry,” May 8).
Didn’t it occur to The Times that perhaps the American public resents the action of the gun-toting military against rock-throwing Palestinian teen-agers?
The Palestinians are demanding their freedom as we did in 1776; therefore should we call them terrorists or freedom fighters?
We have applied sanctions against South Africa, why not Israel?
I, for one, object to any further military aid to Israel which enables that nation to continue this subjugation.
