Bodies Identified as Burbank Couple

Two bodies discovered in a remote area of San Diego County have been identified as the victims in a Burbank murder investigation, officials said Thursday.
The bodies were identified as Violeta Cirdei, 24, and her husband, Constantin Cirdei, 27, said Cal Vine, a San Diego County deputy coroner.
Dumitru Pop, 35, of Hollywood has been charged with killing the couple. Violeta Cirdei was Pop’s former wife.
On Tuesday, Pop led police to the bodies buried in the Cleveland National Forest, Burbank police said.
An autopsy performed on Violeta Cirdei on Thursday did not reveal the cause of death, Vine said. Further tests will be conducted, he said.
Vine said an autopsy is to be performed on Constantin Cirdei’s body today.
