San Fernando 29, Manual Arts 0--San Fernando tailback Maurice McFarland carried the ball 10 times for 78 yards and scored 2 touchdowns, one on a 15-yard run and another on a 22-yard reception.
The Tigers’ defense held Manual Arts to 37 yards total offense and forced three interceptions, a safety and a blocked punt. The punt was blocked by Keary Jones and was recovered by Johnnie Carter in the end zone for San Fernando’s final score.
Kicker Andrew Munoz added field goals of 37 and 38 yards.
