TV Stations to Carry Debate Tonight

The vice presidential debate between Sens. Lloyd Bentsen and Dan Quayle will be broadcast live beginning at 5:30 p.m. today on the following television stations:
KCBS, Channel 2; KNBC, Channel 4; KABC, Channel 7; KCET, Channel 28; KMEX, Channel 34 (in Spanish), and cable channels CNN and C-SPAN. A tape of the debate will be aired at 11:30 p.m. by KTTV, Channel 11.
The event will be broadcast live on AM radio stations KFI 640, KFWB 980 and KNX 1070 and FM stations KPCC 89.3 and KCRW 89.9.
